So -- I returned all movies, and cancelled. I noted that even after all was even, they still had my credit card number in my file. I asked them twice by email and twice on the telephone, and guess what...they think they're going to hand on to that number forever!
I think they're crooks, and I'll have no part of them keeping my credit card for whatever nefarious purposes they can come up with in the future!
Stay clear!

Written by Concerned Consumer, on 13-01-2010 21:19 Change your bank address to an old address and then update your Blockbuster billing to that address, go back to your bank in a few days and change your address back. Blockbuster will have an incorrect address on file and won't be able to bill your card! They did this to me and other that contacting your bank and getting a new credit card and number, this is your best option. |

Written by I Like Blues, on 10-11-2009 17:04 I just stopped my service with BB online also and faced the same problem so I called my bank and told them to put a stop pay on all blockbuster drafts. They did with no problems. Tim- I don't think there is any way to delete this information. The only thing you can do is "change" it. |
| 3. Written by Lorna, on 31-08-2009 22:27 I had thier mail service. I cancelled the service via certified mail. Three months after the certified mail I called my bank to place a "stop payment" on the automatic withdrawl they were still taking every month. Three years later and they are still taking money out every month. I may get it stopped one month, but the next month they just submit it to the bank with a different code so it gets past all thier stop payments. My only way out is to close the bank account and open another, which I really do not want to do, but $15.00 a month every month for three years for something I am not using really adds up fast! |
